Sonora Quest Laboratories is able to receive COVID-19 specimens and perform testing locally at our main lab in Phoenix. The Sonora Quest Laboratories test for COVID-19 is a qualitative, molecular test to detect RNA from SARS-CoV-2, the virus which causes COVID-19.
Sonora Quest Laboratories now offers COVID-19 antibody testing with or without a doctor's order. Antibody testing measures the body’s immune response to an infection and can provide insights into an individual’s prior exposure to COVID-19 and may indicate prior infection which may be resolved or is still resolving, and/or protection against re-infection.
