Sonora Quest Laboratories is an integrated laboratory system servicing over 7,000 clients throughout Arizona including hospitals, physicians, and managed care organizations. We have approximately 2,600 employees statewide and perform over 75,000 diagnostic tests per day. Our comprehensive on-site test menu includes routine testing to more esoteric cytogenetic studies.

At Sonora Quest Laboratories, strong leadership begins at the top, and our President & CEO, David A. Dexter, “walks the talk.” David was honored as the “2008 CEO of the Year” by the Arizona Corporate Excellence Awards (ACE). The Phoenix Business Journal selected him as one of “The Top 25 Most Admired CEO’s in the Valley for 2009.”
Yet David gives the credit for those honors to his leadership team and the employees of Sonora Quest Laboratories, who conduct business by living our core Values and following our Code of Conduct and Ethical Behaviors, which is why Sonora Quest Laboratories was chosen by The Better Business Bureau of Greater Arizona as a ‘2011 Ethics Award Winner.’
Sonora Quest Laboratories has been named a ‘Best Places to Work’ by the Phoenix Business Journal for five consecutive years, most recently in 2012. Our Leadership and our employees also make a difference by supporting many charities in the communities in which we work and live, and our efforts were recognized by the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation as the Top Corporate Sponsor in the Southwest Chapter for 2009. In addition, Sonora Quest Laboratories and our employees were honored with the ‘2009 Arizona Community Impact Award’ by the Arizona Corporate Excellence Awards, an award that given to one company each year in Arizona that is really making a difference for those in need.
