Appointment Scheduling Instructions

 

Scheduling an appointment

  1. If you have already selected your location from our Patient Service Center Locator, skip to step 4.
  2. Select the city where you would like your visit to Sonora Quest Laboratories to be by clicking the drop down box next to the words LOCATION GROUP. NOTE: The box should first appear stating “ALL LOCATIONS”.
  3. Choose the location within the city you have chosen by clicking the dropdown box labeled LOCATION. This box should first appear stating “choose a location from the drop down list”. NOTE: If you are not sure which location you want, you can click the magnifying glass icon to the right of the dropdown box. This will open a list for you to look at.
  4. Click on the box for appointment types and select the appropriate option:
    a. Routine Labs
    b. Drug Screen
    c. Glucose Tolerance Test (GTT)
    d. Pediatric Draw
  5. Choose a date range for your appointment by clicking the appropriate bullet point and then click the NEXT button on the bottom right corner of the screen. NOTE: You may have to scroll down to find this box.
  6. On the next page the appointment grid will open for the dates chosen in the previous step. All the boxes in white are dates that are still available for appointments. Put your cursor over the box for the correct day and time you would like to make your appointment and click the box. NOTE: Notice your cursor turns into a hand when placed in the appointment grid.           PLEASE NOTE: Busiest patient traffic flow occurs during early morning hours while serving fasting patients. If your lab order does not require you to be fasting, an afternoon appointment will allow us to see you quicker.
  7. On the next page you will have the option to enter a recurring appointment if needed (for standing orders). If you do not need a recurring appointment, leave as “NONE”. Click the NEXT button on the bottom right corner of the page.
  8. On the next page the appointment details appear. Verify all information for accuracy and click the MAKE APPOINTMENT box on the bottom right corner of the page. You may click the BACK button if you need to make modifications.
  9. On the next page, your appointment details appear once again, this time with a confirmation number. Please write down your confirmation number and then click the FINISH box in the bottom right corner of the screen. NOTE: If you do not click FINISH, your appointment will not be made. Again, you may have to scroll down to see the FINISH button.
  10. The next page that opens will be the appointment grid again. You will now see your appointment in green within the grid.

A confirmatory email will be sent to you with your appointment details. Please attempt to arrive a few minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to allow for any paperwork that may need to be completed.

Canceling an existing appointment

  1. Enter the city and site of your scheduled appointment and click NEXT.
  2. Enter the appointment type (Routine, Drug Screen, Glucose Tolerance, or Pediatric) and click NEXT.
  3. Click the green box within the grid and your appointment info will appear on the next page.
  4. Click the word CANCEL next to the appointment information.
  5. A pop-up box will appear asking if you really want to cancel the appointment. Click OK in this pop up box.

An email will be sent to you confirming that your appointment was canceled.

Modify an existing appointment

  1. Enter the city and site of your scheduled appointment and click NEXT.
  2. Enter the appointment type (Routine, Drug Screen, Glucose Tolerance, or Pediatric).
  3. Click on the circle next to 'Show availability starting on', enter the date of the appointment you wish to modify and click NEXT.
  4. Click the green box within the grid and your appointment info will appear on the next page.
  5. Click the word MODIFY next to the appointment information.
  6. A new page will open. Click the box labeled NEXT on the bottom right corner of the page.
  7. Choose a new date and time. NOTE: The white boxes within the grid are the only available openings. If you would like to schedule your appointment on a date not shown on the grid, click the calendar icon located just above the grid and a calendar will open for you to choose a new date.
  8. On the next page you will have the option to enter a recurring appointment if needed (for standing orders). If you do not need a recurring appointment, leave as “NONE”. Click the NEXT button on the bottom right corner of the page.
  9. On the next page the appointment details appear. Verify all information for accuracy and click the MAKE APPOINTMENT box on the bottom right corner of the page. You may click the BACK button if you need to make modifications.
  10. On the next page, your appointment details appear once again, this time with a confirmation number. Please write down your confirmation number and then click the FINISH box in the bottom right corner of the screen. NOTE: If you do not click FINISH, your appointment will not be made. Again, you may have to scroll down to see the FINISH button.
  11. The next page that opens will be the appointment grid again. You will now see your appointment in green within the grid.

A confirmatory email will be sent to you with your revised appointment details.
