Sonora Quest Laboratories/Laboratory Sciences of Arizona named one of the Top 25 Workplaces for Women in Arizona by az magazine and BestCompaniesAZ.
(Phoenix, Ariz.) Mar. 4, 2011 – az magazine, a publication of Republic Media, along with BestCompaniesAZ, announced on Saturday, February 26, 2011 that Sonora Quest Laboratories/Laboratory Sciences of Arizona has been named one of the 2010 Top 25 Workplaces for Women in Arizona.
Sonora Quest Laboratories/Laboratory Sciences of Arizona was recognized as being an employer that has helped set the standard for women initiatives in the workplace. - 15% of Congress is made up of women. A new balance of power.
- 18% of top leadership is made up by women. A very low statistic.
- 50% of the voting population is made up of women.
- Statistics have shown that companies have a much higher rate of return on investment when two or more women are on the board.
