Sonora Quest Laboratories/Laboratory Sciences of Arizona operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, providing our customers with a comprehensive menu of routine and specialty laboratory tests and services. With the consolidated capabilities of our main testing laboratory, gene-based testing through our cytogenetic division - Palo Verde Laboratory, the hospital laboratories that are managed by our employees through Laboratory Sciences of Arizona, and the additional esoteric capabilities of Quest Diagnostics' Nichols Institute, we are able to offer unequaled convenience in utilizing one laboratory for all diagnostic and prognostic clinical testing needs. We also collaborate with Pathology Specialists of Arizona to support Sonora Quest Laboratories with medical direction and pathology services. Sonora Quest Laboratories is dedicated to providing our customers with leading-edge technology in the field of laboratory medicine.
Our Medical Laboratory Scientists/Medical Technologists (MT) and Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT) work in our clinical laboratories at Banner hospitals, our three primary testing facilities located in Tempe, Tucson, and Flagstaff, as well as in other laboratory facilities throughout Arizona.
- All of our technologists are certified in their specialty through accrediting agencies such as ASCP, AMT and NCA.
- Being a full-service laboratory, we have positions for generalists and specialty positions such as Virology, Flow Cytometry, Microbiology, Cytogenetics, and Blood Bank, to name a few.
- Our hospital laboratories offer our technologists the opportunity to excel in their chosen field through their diversity of specialties such as trauma, pediatrics, and cardiology, among others.
We provide state of the art instrumentation and are always seeking new technology for the best possible testing and results.
