HB 2144 was signed by former governor Doug Ducey to provide patients with health insurance coverage for biomarker testing when there is a clinical need for it. Biomarker testing is a measurable indicator, such as a genetic mutation or protein level, that can help providers determine whether a biomarker is present and at what level.
