University of Arizona Health Plans - Sonora Quest Laboratories to be the Exclusive Lab Beginning October 1, 2017

Effective October 1, 2017, Sonora Quest Laboratories will be the exclusive laboratory services provider for University of Arizona Health Plan (UAHP) members. This exclusive arrangement also includes the following plans:

• Banner University Family Care
• UAHP - Family Care
• UAHP - University Care Advantage
• UAHP - University Healthcare

Sonora Quest Laboratories is proud to become the exclusive, in-network provider of laboratory services for UAHP. Our extensive Patient Service Center network of 70+ locations throughout Arizona, including 10 locations in Safeway stores, is prepared to serve all UAHP members.

We offer a local comprehensive test menu which encompasses routine, molecular, prescription drug monitoring, genetic/genomic, and pathology testing services, including >60board certified anatomic, gynecologic, and clinical pathologists.

Other AHCCCS Plans

Sonora Quest Laboratories is contracted with the majority of AHCCCS plans in Arizona, including, but not limited to:

• Care1st (includes former Phoenix Health Plan) (exclusive laboratory services provider)
• Health Net Access (exclusive laboratory services provider)
• Mercy Care (only contracted laboratory services provider)
• Mercy Maricopa Integrated Care (exclusive laboratory services provider)

EMR Health Plan Mapping & Additional Information

Some EMRs allow for health plan mapping for ease in routing your patient’s samples to the appropriate laboratory for testing. Sonora Quest Laboratories has a team of Technology Account Executives available to visit your office to facilitate this process.
